Sands Department Store·Pearl River Bridge Diamond Label T-shirt When collecting historical data on old department stores in Guangdong, the Sand Dust Department Store team paid special attention to old trademarks that bore the imprint of Guangzhou. The team took Chinese font elements from the instructions for the alarm clocks of the Guangzhou Clock Factory in the 1970s and combined them with the simplified abstract graphics of the Pearl River Bridge to design a diamond-shaped label with a contemporary feel. Some of the piers of the Pearl River Bridge were built before 1949, while the bridge deck was not completed until after 1950. Every time a design with this theme is completed, it seems to enrich our historical memory and cognition of the city.
