This is a very retro French wall-mounted decoration, Journaux means newspaper, which the French used in the thirties to hang the newspaper of the day in the entrance position, as well as to store magazines and mail. The rack is made of wood and brass, with two hooks and a rope above it for easy hanging on the wall. In good condition, the copper plate is slightly oxidized to add a vintage feel.
