Work Title: "Stone Path to Seclusion" Literary Allusion: From Tang Dynasty poet Chang Jian's "Chant at the Broken Mountain Temple's Rear Zen Hall": "A winding path leads to seclusion; the Zen room is deep among flowers and trees." Poet's Background: Chang Jian, a Tang Dynasty poet, was renowned for his depictions of tranquil mountain landscapes and reclusive sentiments, characterized by a clear and serene style. This poem describes his journey to a Zen temple, passing through a winding stone path to reach the deep recesses where the Zen room, surrounded by flowers and trees, is hidden. The imagery evokes a secluded and tranquil atmosphere, representing a "passage into another realm." Modern Interpretation: Stepping onto a mountain path, winding and twisting, suddenly reveals a hidden world—nestled among abundant flowers and verdant foliage, a secluded Zen temple quietly appears, as if the mundane world is far away. Design Interpretation: This piece uses stacked Qinglong stones vertically to evoke the image of a natural stone gate, forming a focal point that suggests the door at the end of a winding path. Once crossed, one enters the deep, tranquil mountain forest. Beneath the stone gate, delicate mosses and Silver Vein Grass with its finely veined leaves are arranged, resembling a path leading to a hidden realm. The open space partially concealed by greenery behind the gate represents the secluded beauty of "deep among flowers and trees." The overall composition embodies spatial layers and philosophical depth, inviting contemplation and a sense of entering a realm with each gaze. Its stable color, substantial feel, and ease of vertical stacking make it an excellent choice for landscaping to create a "cliff-like" or "fault-line" aesthetic. In this work, we specifically used Qinglong stone to construct a vertical structure resembling a stone gate, showcasing its excellent stability and spatial shaping capabilities.
