Spring couplets/Qianlong dragon pattern Spring couplets/lucky stars and good luck, wishing you good fortune/dragon pattern made by the Qianlong court in the Qing Dynasty This image is copied from a page of the "Three Inscriptions and Jade Collection of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty" in the collection of the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Simply put, this is a four-page work of jade carving. Qianlong collected three quite rare calligraphy masterpieces: Wang Xizhi's "Quick Snow and Clear Tie", Wang Xun's "Bo Yuan Tie", and (biography) Wang Xianzhi's "Mid-Autumn Tie". He happily placed these three works in the small room on the west side connected to the Xinuang Pavilion of the bedroom. Because of the rarity of these three works, he also named the small room "Sanxi Hall". Then everyone knew that Emperor Qianlong loved calligraphy creation, and he copied these three calligraphy treasures many times. "Three Xiwen Hanyu Book" is one of the records. "San Xiwen Han Jade Book" is a beautiful jade with three precious calligraphy masterpieces copied by Emperor Qianlong. It is carved by a craftsman and then filled with gold. There are three pieces in total. The fourth piece (probably meant as the cover) is this extremely exquisite dragon pattern image. Finally, four long pieces of jade products were combined into a set, which was ceremoniously stored in a brocade box. There are three sets in the collection of the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
