The rough stone used here, featuring red rutilated quartz and black rutilated quartz, is often referred to as "Black Gold Super Seven" in the market. However, it's important to note that this does not fall under the generally defined category of Super Seven. I acquired this particular stone as a sample because I appreciated its quality. Recently, I've been incorporating pure copper wire into my weaving more often. While looking at this rough stone, I felt it would perfectly complement the color of the wire, so I decided to create something with it. The sunstone accents were chosen not only to echo the wire's color but also to resonate with the rutilated inclusions in the main stone. For the decorative elements, I crafted a classic woven bezel that streamlines the overall design while retaining all the hallmarks of metal weaving. Attention was paid to the wire's flow not just on the front but also on the underside, ensuring the stone's clarity and texture are fully showcased. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight. Dimensions are listed as Length x Width (x Thickness). ❖ Metalwork and silver jewelry pieces do not come with a chain by default. In addition to commercially available silver chains, we also recommend pairing oxidized pure silver pieces with stainless steel chains for a harmonious color tone. ❖ During the metal wire weaving process, slight pinching or cutting marks may occur due to handling. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon (they will gradually turn into an antique bronze/antique silver color). The color change and rate of oxidation will vary with wear and individual body chemistry, which is also part of the character of unplated wire jewelry. In terms of oxidation speed, red copper wire tends to oxidize faster for most people (potentially turning antique red copper in days to weeks), while yellow copper and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wire that has undergone a vulcanization (antiquing) process will have a more stable color tone compared to untreated wire.
