Cashmere, also known as "goat down," comes from goats that primarily inhabit the Himalayas at altitudes of 15,000 feet. To withstand the cold, they grow a soft layer of "down" in late autumn for added insulation. This down is among the finest animal fibers, boasting not only excellent warmth but also a lightweight feel, natural luster, and elasticity, earning it the nickname "diamond fiber."
The key differences between Cashmere and ordinary wool are:
1. Cashmere feels lightweight and not at all scratchy to the touch.
2. The irregular curls and fine nature of Cashmere create air pockets when woven into a scarf, which helps to block external cold air and retain body heat, ensuring superior warmth.
3. Its inherent elasticity means it resists wrinkling and quickly recovers its beautiful shape after being folded.
Suitable for: Spring, Autumn, Winter, air-conditioned rooms, international travel (including snowy destinations).
Please note that there may be slight color variations between photos and the actual product. Due to the handmade dyeing process, slight imperfections are possible. Those who are sensitive to such details should refrain from purchasing.
Care Instructions:
1. Due to its delicate nature, dry cleaning is recommended. Iron at a low temperature with a pressing cloth; do not bleach or iron at high temperatures.
2. Avoid wearing with other metal jewelry or accessories to prevent snagging.
3. The fine fibers of cashmere can occasionally snag, which is a normal characteristic of 100% Cashmere. If snagging occurs, do not cut the fiber. Gently pull it straight along the weave direction with your fingers.
4. If pilling occurs, gently brush it away with your hands; do not use a brush.
5. Photos may exhibit color differences. While the handmade weave is intricate, perfection cannot be guaranteed. The scarf edges may appear slightly fuzzy.
6. Produced in Nepal without fixatives; slight color bleeding or fading is a normal phenomenon.
