【Introduction】
This book is a new book "Habits Change Destiny", with a new chapter "A brief discussion of several spiritual practice habits: obedience, solitude, and regular prayer".
The author, Professor Ou Xiangjiang, pointed out that this book can be said to be a compilation of his reading "habits".
The first four chapters are the theoretical part, discussing what habits are, the classification of habits, why habits should start "small", and the concepts and tools for building habits. Chapter 5 is the central idea of writing this book, that is, "Habits determine our destiny." The main idea comes from the concept of compound effect, which is also the part where habits exert their wonderful effects. Chapter 6 explains why bad habits are difficult to break and provides effective solutions for reference (including three bad habits: food addiction, procrastination, and being hooked on smartphones). Chapter 7 provides principles for establishing good habits, including good financial management habits, good sleeping habits, three happy habits, good home storage habits, morning rituals (Morning Rituals) and spiritual practice habits; the eighth chapter is added A brief discussion of several spiritual practice habits: submission, solitude, and regular prayers" are the author's suggestions on several spiritual practice habits.
The author believes that turning important life learning, principles of life, and core concepts into daily habits is the way to success. The reason is very simple. Habits are not afraid of small things. With practice day after day, habits can influence our destiny.
I hope that this book's learning about the formation, maintenance, and change of habits will become an important cornerstone for readers to create a life. If readers can seize the time and opportunity, establish some important good habits in life, and fulfill the calling given to you by God, your life will be in vain.
