A piece by Master Yeh Chin-Yu of Taiping Blue, a renowned indigo dyeing brand from Taiwan.
Indigo Craftsmanship: Dyed on pure silk scarves, the texture is soft and delicate.
The patterns are created using the "tie-dye" method. Areas intended for pattern are tightly bound with thread before being submerged in the dye bath. This process yields a variety of distinct patterns, enhancing the richness of the indigo dyeing.
**Concept**
Integrating traditional indigo dyeing techniques with modern design, the varying shades of blue on the scarf symbolize nature and purity, carrying gentle blessings and subtle emotions.
**Craftsmanship Features**
Carefully selected natural silk, hand-dyed, each scarf possesses a unique character, showcasing the Taiwanese artisan's dedication to quality and detail. It is soft, comfortable, and elegantly colored.

| Taiping Indigo Fabric Washing and Care Instructions |
Step 1. Prepare warm water (30-50°C) and add a mild neutral detergent. Soak the fabric for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2. For any particularly soiled areas, gently rub with your hands.
Step 3. For general washing, simply rinse gently in water. Avoid vigorous scrubbing or twisting.
Step 4. During washing, a yellowish-brown pigment will dissolve. Discard this colored water.
Step 5. Finally, rinse with clean water 2-3 times. When blue color appears in the rinse water, stop rinsing to prevent dye from leaching out and causing fading.
Step 6. Air dry in a ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible. If exposed to sunlight, turn the reverse side outward and limit exposure to no more than 30 minutes.
**| Prohibitions |**
1. Do not use strong detergents or bleach during washing.
2. Do not use a brush for scrubbing.
3. Do not machine wash the fabric.
**| Storage Method |**
1. After washing and air-drying the fabric, it can be ironed. Then, store it in a paper bag, plastic bag, or zipper bag, and keep it in a dark place (e.g., in a wardrobe).
2. As the fabric oxidizes with air, a yellowish pigment may dissolve, causing the product to appear slightly pale yellow. You can wash it again using the method described above, and the blue luster will become more vibrant and enduring.
