This is a double strand necklace crafted with antique Bohemian beads, gooseberry beads, French vintage beads, and Karen silver. The clear, oval-shaped beads are early 20th-century Bohemian beads. They bear marks of age, which only enhance their incredible character! (Bohemian bead size: 0.9cm width, 0.7cm height) The striped beads are known as "gooseberry" beads, originating from antique Venetian beads (19th-20th century). They are named for their resemblance to the fruit of the currant bush. As they are deadstock items, they have minimal scratches and are in excellent condition, with a subtle pink hue. Their glossy finish is utterly charming! Smaller clear beads with striped patterns are also gooseberry beads. The small purple, pink opal, and wisteria-colored beads are French vintage beads, offering a subtle elegance.
