The artwork is divided into the external and the internal – the rational and the emotional. External: A languid gaze meets layered, heavy fabrics. A vacant stare confronts the still-living profile of a goat. The front of the piece is designed for a comfortable, intuitive visual experience. Internal: The theme of time is rendered through a liquefying effect, illustrating the psychological state of those who succumb to sloth, drifting with the current. The liquefying hour hand is frozen at midnight. A skeletal goat resides within, symbolizing weathered decay. Yiben's designs consistently explore themes of life, death, and abstract philosophical logic, infused with his unique aesthetic and exceptional craftsmanship.
