Over time, exposure to air and the environment will naturally cause its luster to diminish and the metal to deepen in color, which is a normal oxidation process. * If your brass jewelry oxidizes and darkens, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Simply use a silver polishing cloth to restore the shine. The cloth turning black is normal; do not wash it, as this will diminish its effectiveness. - Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Use a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass's luster. Afterward, rinse with dish soap to remove any residual polish and prevent potential allergic reactions while wearing. * These preserved floral earrings are crafted from fresh flowers and can last over 5 years.
