In ancient times, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, generations of potters labored painstakingly, dedicating their lives to achieving a single perfect Tenmoku piece. Today, advancements in technology allow for greater control over the variables in Tenmoku firing. However, it remains an extremely challenging and difficult type of ceramic to master.
