New Arrival: "Sunday Morning Stroll" PET Tape

Inspired by the median strip on Dunhua South Road, a place we often pass on our walks. For over a decade, our work has been centered in this same area. Through changing seasons and three office relocations, we've traversed this road day and night. The median strip is a fascinating and beautiful space; its sections have been renovated at different times. You'll find flagstone paths, moss-covered foot reflexology trails, expansive red bricks, small pebbles, patches of concrete, park benches, and stone seats. The plantings, a collage assembled over time, have formed their own unique character. The vibrant flame trees form a majestic canopy overhead, complemented by long-established azaleas, ferns, low shrubs, frequently-trod and re-landscaped lawns, and self-seeded Bidens alba... Ah, it's truly a beautiful, quintessential Taipei landscape. Between day and night, through the seasons, this long pathway takes on a myriad of shapes and colors. We find ourselves drawn to stroll here when the weather is good and our spirits are high, and also when we feel down, discouraged, or lonely. As winter drew to a close and we were conceptualizing new works inspired by music, we often walked and listened to songs on this median strip with headphones. We've captured these scenes, elements, and moments in this "Sunday Morning Stroll" tape.
