Do not hang it; dry it in the shade in an upside-down position. Do not use a hairdryer, as this may cause the shape to change. For cosmetic stains, lightly wipe with a towel soaked in diluted neutral detergent or cleansing agent, or use a commercially available cleansing sheet. When doing so, do not press hard, but wipe gently to ensure it does not soak into the hat itself.
