【Gardenia Fruit Dye】Silk Cotton Warming Socks【Organic Cotton&Silk】
New colors for Spring/Summer 2025!
A perennial favorite, these double-weave socks feature smooth silk on the inside and organic cotton on the outside.
These are dyed using a botanical dyeing technique, with pigments extracted from plants.
The vibrant turquoise green is achieved with gardenia fruit.
● The flower language of Gardenia: Joyful, Elegant, Extremely Happy
A small amount of chemicals (3%) is used to ensure the natural colors set beautifully and last through washes, allowing you to enjoy the color for a long time.
These socks offer warmth and a comfortable, snug fit.
They can be worn alone in warmer weather, or as the first layer in colder seasons for added warmth.
The top of the ankle is designed to be loose and non-restrictive, while the foot and ankle area provides a comfortable, close fit.
Many "cold-prevention" socks are very loose, requiring layering for stability. However, our "Silk Cotton Warming Socks" have a regular fit and thickness that allows them to be worn comfortably on their own. This also makes them more durable than typical loose-fitting cold-prevention socks that can easily tear.
They are also recommended for those who dislike five-toe socks or find other cold-prevention socks prone to tearing.
For extra warmth during the cold winter months, layering them with COCOCOCO's original "Low Gauge Socks" will keep you exceptionally cozy.
These socks are meticulously knitted in a sock factory in Nara Prefecture.

【What is Botanical Dyeing?】
Botanical dyeing is a technique that extracts dyes from sources such as flowers, leaves, roots, stems, trees, bark, and fruits. A natural adhesive derived from protein is evenly applied to the fabric, followed by the addition of a small amount of chemical dye. This process enhances colorfastness (resistance to fading from light, sweat, and washing, and aids pigment stability) without the need for a mordant, resulting in beautiful, natural colors on the fabric.
Natural dyes are not as simple as chemical dyes; they are complex mixtures. A single color contains multiple pigments, both strong and weak. The interplay of these pigments creates a gentle, diffused light that is pleasing to the eye. We hope you will enjoy the vibrant yet deep and soft hues of botanical dyeing.
