These asymmetrical earrings are crafted by connecting old Afghan metal parts with abundant tourmaline & Herkimer diamonds, indigo blue beads, and ethnic bells.
The uniquely curved parts are old metal pieces sourced from Afghanistan, offering a distinct vintage charm.
(Afghan part dimensions: 2.2cm length, 1.2cm width, including the loop.)
We've adorned them with square-cut tourmalines and small, double-terminated Herkimer diamonds, reminiscent of ripe fruit.
Indigo blue Indo-Pacific beads have been incorporated. These are antique beads, known as Indo-Pacific beads, with origins tracing back to the 2nd century BC.
These particular beads are archaeological finds from Indonesia, dating back to approximately the 10th century – over 1000 years old!
They are delicately framed with Karen silver, plated in 18k gold.
The bells are parts from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan, once used as decorative elements and are also vintage pieces.
These earrings embody a beautiful, decadent aesthetic with their old metal components.
