The land used to grow cotton must first be fallow for 3 years. During the cotton's growth, no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, or defoliants are permitted. The seeds must also be free from fungicide treatment. In contrast, conventional cotton often uses 1 kg of insecticide for every 3 kg of cotton, along with bleaching agents and chemical dyes. Chemical fertilizers are also used to accelerate growth. Compared to regular cotton, 100% organic cotton garments are more comfortable with zero burden, as they are processed without chemical raw materials. Imported cotton requires organic certification from international organizations. The fabric production facilities must also obtain international certification – the GOTS organic cotton certification. Each 100% organic cotton garment comes with a dedicated <Organic Cotton Certification Tag> to assure consumers of the natural comfort derived from 100% organic cotton, reducing the burden on the earth.
