In the picture, women are independent individuals who also have dreams and desires. However, these dreams often seem to sink in the vast sea, symbolizing that women's efforts to pursue their dreams are always accompanied by varying degrees of sacrifices, most of which originate from family and social frameworks.
While the light of male sacrifice often achieves personal achievement and illuminates the night sky, female sacrifice seems to be swallowed by the deep sea and cannot be seen by the surroundings. This painting profoundly reflects the various expectations and restrictions that women endure within the social framework, such as childbirth, raising husbands and raising children, etc.
However, the painting also conveys a sense of persistence and the power to pursue freedom. Women strive to be themselves and maintain an independent free soul.
