Their job is to clean the soot from chimneys. And Hesoguma, the bear with a navel. Their job is to assist the chimney sweep. Chimchimney and Hesoguma are very good friends. On holidays, they enjoy their days by picking mushrooms and berries, taking walks with their forest friends, and baking sweets. Occasionally, they sneak into the human world to steal sweets or play pranks. Watching them from afar is the One-Eyed Monster! The Tear Monster. Though its appearance is frightening, it is very kind. It lives by eating human sadness. It tries to cheer up those who are crying and sad by giving them delicious sweets and bread.
