Jairo Arcila is the coffee grower in Quindio, Colombia. He started in coffee career at Coffee Exporter ‘Racafe’ as mill Manager. And continued to work there until his retirement in 2019 Don Jairo has been a part of ‘Cofinet’ from the very beginning. Listening to his sons Carlos and Felipe expertise in picking practices, sorting and processing of coffee cherries.
In 2014 Jairo and his brother plant Geisha trees. They become one of two farmers to grow Geisha at that time. With the success of the first harvest. He plant more exotic varieties like Pink Bourbon, Tabi and Sidra.
