To the dining table with chopsticks
This is a slightly reshaped version of a work that was selected for the Nissin Foods Contemporary Ceramic Bowl Award.
By making two dimples in the bowl, chopsticks can be placed, and the bowl can be served as it is to create a fashionable dining table.
It is interesting that it is not a round bowl but a shaped bowl.
Tomitaka Ota invented this design when he went to the U.S. for training when he was 20 years old.
Customer's voice
It is interesting to use it not only as a pot but also as a vase. (Flower teacher).
It is just right for serving Japanese sweets at a tea ceremony and having people pass it around with chopsticks. (Tea ceremony teacher)
I want to use it as a somen bowl for one person.
