The glaze has a smooth, matte texture and produces a deep green color reminiscent of the color of the forest. I created a soup cup that combines these two elements. It is a generous size, larger than a typical soup cup. It can also handle hearty soups and vegetable stews. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. The plump, rounded shape, rough texture, and slight weight give it a ceramic feel. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, and you can enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand. In order to avoid damaging your table as much as possible, the contact surface will be sanded down before delivery.
