ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) The movie 16-mm camera Kiev-16 is one of the most perfect cameras for the amateurs filming on the 16-mm color or black-and-white film. This not so often seen movie camera was expensive back in the late 70’s and thus used mostly by professionals. Its rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals. Kiev-16 cameras were equipped with different high quality fix-focus lenses, situated at turret system of the camera. Any serious cameraman knows, that best image quality brings fix-focus lenses, even those lenses sometimes not so convenient as zoom lenses. You can test this idea with presented lens. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+++++++ It looks that the lens were never used before and stored in good conditions. The lenses are very clean, without fungus or scratches, but very minor cleaning marks can come even from the factory. Cosmetically condition of the lens looks fine for about 40 years old lens, just examine item's photos, please. Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is a bit tight but acceptable. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * High quality coated optics. * Focuses: 12, 20 & 50 mm. * Relative aperture: 1:2 (up to 1:16 without clicks). * Lens mount is special 32x0.5mm screw mount, optical registration is 31mm, same with Kiev-16 cameras. * Will fit to BMPCC Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, also for Mirrorless micro 4/3 system (MFT) cameras if you'll find the adapter for it. Other kinds of adapter will allow to use the lens with Sony NEX, Olympus, Panasonic / Lumix, Fujifilm and many others. * It was created especially for 16mm film, with 7.45x10.05mm frame size. Please be careful, that I DON'T SURE that the lens will completely cover all MFT frame sizes with good sharpness at corners, but people uses it now for such formats and looks happy with it... * Focusing: from 0.25-0.7m. * Filter mount M 35 x 0.5 mm. * Very nice "constructive" lens-hood is built-in into the lens. * Made at LZOS plant at Litkarino optical plant in the USSR (it has the special symbol). * Pretty in using. * Black painting.
