_Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902~2000)
Japanese printmaker, born in an artistic family in Kyoto in 1902, graduated from Kyoto Municipal Painting School.
After World War II, he founded his own publishing company, Matsukyū, and wrote extensively about woodblock engraving and printing techniques.
He is an influential figure in the Japanese contemporary printmaking movement and an important bridge between the two major Japanese art movements of the early 20th century, "Shin-hanga" and "Sôsaku-hanga".
