At the Luoyao Laboratory (flowchronicle.lab), we primarily use natural plant dyes to record the fallen grass and leaves of our community and nature. Through plant transfer printing, we can trace the veining of flowers and leaves. Through the plant printing process, we can experience the connection between humans and nature, the flowers, plants, rivers, and the land. Through the creative process, we heal our body, mind, and spirit, relieve stress, and create works that tell the stories of local plant patterns.
Let's refocus our perspectives on our own communities and rediscover the names of the trees that bring us green leaves and flowers. Follow the veins of plants, give new life to fallen grass and leaves, and unfold the stories of each plant and tree. Through natural plant-based printing and dyeing, we encourage and support sustainable fashion and textile manufacturing.
"Light and shadow are like flowing water, mountains and grasses become rivers"
