Product Description

👹『A Hundred Ghosts of Hong Kong』Volume 5️⃣ 👹 0️⃣ 1️⃣ 7️⃣ 🀄️ Tuen Mun Road Gambler Ghost 🀄️ 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 ✅ 1 Original Sticker ✅ 📐 Size: 48mm × 48mm 📐 🌟 Feature: Silver Laser Sparkle Sticker 🌟 📩 Packaging: Comes with a clear plastic sleeve 📩 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52608169171_038517350b_b.jpg WE ARE THE PIGS™'s inaugural project, 『A Hundred Ghosts of Hong Kong』(abbreviated as 『Ghosts』), was inspired by a quote from renowned Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi: "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." Local ghost legends often reflect the social conditions, prevailing culture, and unique historical background of their time, making them worthy of recording and preservation. Through this collection of a century's worth of Hong Kong's folk ghost legends, we aim to explore Hong Kong's historical culture and identity with you. 『Ghosts』uses "Shokugan" (snack toy) stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost stories. This type of sticker first appeared in 1977, included inside Japanese snack packaging, typically measuring 4.8 x 4.8cm. They were commonly known as "chocolate cookie stickers," "shokugan stickers," or "biscuit stickers." In the 80s and 90s, Hong Kong was heavily influenced by Japanese pop culture, and these "shokugan stickers" became a collective childhood memory for many Hongkongers. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories and combined them with shokugan stickers into a new media format, visually documenting a "Compendium of Yokai" belonging to Hong Kong. This project features 100 shokugan stickers themed around Hong Kong ghost stories. For each tale, we have created a unique ghost character and a brief description. The stickers are enhanced with special printing effects such as laser sparkles, gold foil, and silver foil, increasing the collectible value of 『A Hundred Ghosts of Hong Kong』. The 『A Hundred Ghosts of Hong Kong』sticker series compiles local ghost stories, with original illustrations and text vividly interpreting mysterious events. Volume 5 includes the tales of "Tuen Mun Road Gambler Ghost," "Castle Peak Road Speed Camera Ghost," "Super High-Speed Paper Car," and "Ghost Traffic Police." https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52608426899_e5fb35ce40_b.jpg
