Since then, we've been discussing a second design, which has now finally been realized in the form of the Ishie Box. Ishie is a cool Canadian/Chinese model and stylist, and Jake is the founder and lead designer at Beara Beara. The main feature of this bag they designed is its clean front, free of clutter, with a buckle at the top. The bag opens smoothly from the top, and the sides can be bent and stretched as needed. Beauty in simplicity. Ishie likes wide, substantial straps, so we chose to pair it with the SADIE strap. Beara Beara bags are made entirely from unfinished cowhide, which will have natural variations in texture and color, a hallmark of handcrafted leather goods. __Does the leather soften with use?__ Yes, the leather will gradually soften and develop a richer patina after a few weeks of use. However, to maintain the bag's shape and ensure its longevity, we recommend not overloading it with excessively heavy items. __Is the leather waterproof?__ Natural leather is not waterproof. However, both leather and suede can be protected with a waterproofing spray. As the spray may affect the leather's sheen, please use it sparingly. __Will the bag be damaged if it gets wet?__ Exposure to small amounts of moisture will not damage the leather. If the bag accidentally gets splashed with a little water, we recommend hanging it to air dry naturally. __Will the suede fade?__ Under normal use, it will not fade, especially with protection from a waterproofing spray.
