After half a century of silence, it returns in modern form as a celebrated craft. In this workshop, We will guide you through ancient tie-dye techniques. You’ll dip your fabric into the dye vat and create your own indigo-dyed masterpiece by hand. From exploring the history of indigo in Taiwan, to understanding the difference between natural and synthetic indigo, to folding, designing, and dyeing— we’ll immerse ourselves in the craft and rediscover the beauty of dyeing! **What You’ll Learn** Introduction to Indigo Dyeing Learning & applying tie-dye techniques Hands-on dyeing and technique practice Final rinse and reveal – your unique indigo creation **Workshop Highlights** Creative Freedom|Techniques are tailored to your skill level so your final work is unique and personal, not generic. **Important Notes** Only registered participants may enter. Non-ticketed companions are not allowed to observe or participate. If two people wish to work on one item together, both must register and pay. To maintain the quality of instruction and the experience for all, doors open 10 minutes before class starts. Please do not be late. If you miss check-in or arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, you will not be admitted or refunded. Due to the need for material preparation, a 30% cancellation fee applies for personal cancellations. No refunds will be given within 10 days of the event. In case of natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances (e.g. typhoon), we will contact you to reschedule or offer a refund. Photos may be taken during the workshop by staff and posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages for event records and future promotion. Photos/videos featuring you may be used for promotional purposes. You’re welcome to download them after the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify our staff at the beginning of the session and we will do our best to avoid including you.
