I studied mathematics, but in 2007, I developed a fondness for literature and history. It's not that I no longer like math and science, but rather that life offers different passions at different stages. Many people in society have "slash" careers or lives, and similarly, my interests evolved. I don't pursue these for a living, but for joy – sharing life, telling stories, conveying the Gospel message, and affirming the biblical words, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." After retiring as a high school math teacher, I dedicated my free time to charitable activities. I previously served as a counselor at the Garden of Hope Foundation and shared stories with youth, women, and seniors in various churches. Reading and writing are part of my daily routine. My articles were often published in the *Presbyterian Church Herald* or *Geng Xin Weekly*. More recently, I post irregularly on my Facebook fan page, "Pastor's Wife Pearl Tells Stories." My personality is approachable for all ages, and I am happy to share my faith experiences with others. Although I am older, my heart remains young. I can still be friends with my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The Bible teaches us not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, so that we may discern God's will—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.
