Mexican Talavera Style
Mi Casa Su Casa postcard
Material: Paper (Matte, 320gsm)
Size: 178x127mm
This is a postcard containing the phrase “Mi casa es su casa”, a phrase you always hear when visiting a Mexican home.
We drew it with the idea of making tiles in the Talavera style, a type of Mexican ceramic craft.
Hang the tile frame on the wall or use it as an invitation. Of course, it can also be used as a regular postcard!
We have prepared two types of postcards: 1. a cactus tile postcard depicting cacti and red flowers on a mosaic, and 2. a yellow postcard with the sun and the moon, reminiscent of colorful pixel art.
1. The cactus tile postcard says “Bienvenidos, mi casa es su casa” (Welcome. My house is your house which means have a nice stay like your own home). 2. The sun, moon, and yellow postcard says “Mi casa es tu casa” (Have a nice stay like your own home). There is an informal text written there.
Mi Casa es Su Casa postcards are produced in a larger size (5x7 inches), making them great for decoration like small posters.
*Colors may look different depending on computer specifications or resolution.
