With wear, exposure to weather, temperature, and sweat will cause slight oxidation, developing a deeper antique bronze patina. Avoid direct contact with perfume on pure copper jewelry. ▾ Corrosive agents such as hair dye, chlorine in swimming pools, sulfur in hot springs, and seawater salt will permanently discolor silver, brass, and alloy jewelry. Please remove jewelry before water activities. ▾ To clean, use a toothbrush with a small amount of toothpaste to gently scrub the bracelet/chain. After washing, ensure it is completely dry to prevent accelerated oxidation. Alternatively, use a silver polishing cloth or copper polish after scrubbing to restore its original luster. ▾ We recommend wearing copper jewelry often; the natural oils from your skin will impart a beautiful, warm sheen over time. You can purchase 'copper polish' from a hardware store.
