Designed and crafted by Ewin. The Aegis of Zeus, or "Zeus's Shield," is legendary. Crafted from goatskin by Hephaestus, it was imbued with magic, rendering it impervious to Zeus's own thunderbolts. Wielding it could conjure storms, darken the skies when held aloft, and clear them when Zeus raised it. This piece offers a distinct interpretation of the Aegis, inspired by our perception of Zeus. The shield's outline draws from the powerful eagle, a form Zeus frequently assumed. Symmetrical lightning motifs on the front create the eagle's eyes, while the upper brow is shaped into a human figure, evoking Zeus with arms spread wide. A 6mm cubic zirconia embedded in the chest symbolizes the source of Zeus's divine power. The reverse side features a bird in a diving pose, echoing the front design and creating a harmonious visual flow. This pendant is crafted as a single, integrated piece. It is sold as a complete set with a 24-inch sterling silver chain and a serpent feather clasp. When worn, the chain and pendant form a striking V-shape, elegantly accentuating the neckline.
