While professional knives boast exceptional sharpness and edge retention, they often present challenges with rust, chipping, breakage, or warping, leading to considerable difficulties in daily maintenance and subsequent repairs.
To address the humid climate of Taiwanese homes, Yè Tiān utilizes high-hardness stainless steel combined with composite steel technology, creating a blade that is both sharp and remarkably durable. This allows everyday users to experience professional-grade cutting performance with peace of mind, while minimizing the need for complex knife care.

San-Gō steel is a composite steel technique originating from Japan. It features tough outer steel layers that protect the inner high-hardness steel core, achieving a balance of toughness on the outside and hardness within. This protects the inner steel, which is hard and sharp but more brittle, allowing the knife to possess both sharpness and durability. It is the key technology for bringing professional-grade knives into the home.

Each Yè Tiān knife is hand-sharpened and beveled by skilled artisans. Their accumulated experience is a technique that automated machines cannot replicate.

Daily Care:
Regarding Knife Cleaning:
1. Clean with water or mild detergent. Dishwashers and dish dryers are not recommended as they can affect the lifespan of the wooden handle.

3. Do not use scouring pads or similar cleaning tools, as they can damage the blade's surface and affect its longevity.
Regarding Food Preparation Care:
1. Always wash the knife thoroughly after cutting acidic or sticky foods.
2. Frozen foods must be thawed before cutting to prevent damage to the blade.
3. Use the knife on a cutting board. Using it on hard surfaces such as concrete, tiles, or ceramic plates will accelerate edge wear.
