【Fujita Kinzoku】FRYING PAN JIU S size with handle set - Cookware - Other Metals Black

Product Description

Iron-crafted frying pan with removable handle. Choose from a light-colored Beech handle, or a deep-colored Walnut handle. ■ S size https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52932953522_f2ca9bd91a_c.jpg The perfect size multifunctional frying pan and serving plate for a one-person pasta dinner or tasty fried-egg breakfast. The slight depth makes it the ideal utensil for experimenting with dishes such as Spanish ‘al ajillo’ – frying in olive oil and garlic. --------------------------------------------------------------- https://youtu.be/sB8FycaiILE From pan to plate, all in one. Fujita Kinzoku’s FRYING PAN JIU series takes the meaning of multifunctional to the next level, with its iron-crafted frying pans that transform into plates by simply removing the handle. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52933944155_d6f14890d8_c.jpg The name ‘JIU’ comes from the Japanese for the number ten, as when the frying pan handle is removed and placed by the side of the pan, the resulting form looks like the number ten. Iron utensils are a brilliant kitchen investment that can last a lifetime if maintained correctly. Cooking with iron pans enhances dishes taste and depth, and with FRYING PAN JIU you can enjoy your delicious freshly cooked meals sizzling hot, straight from the iron plate for a truly heavenly gourmet experience. Designed through a collaboration between Osaka’s Fujita Kinzoku ironworks, established in 1951, and Japanese creative unit, TENT, JIU frying pans are a culmination of expert craftsmanship, quality and functionality. --------------------------------------------------------------- Design Features ・Outer rim The smart outer rim gives the pan the appearance of a plate, ensuring it will blend in with other tableware. 🍳1.6mm thickness Compared to conventional frying pans, ironware pans effectively store heat and regulate temperatures, meaning food is easier to cook. Meat is juicer, vegetables are more succulent, and bread is crisp on the outside with a fluffy, soft center. The trick to making delicious dishes with an iron pan is to heat it thoroughly before adding the ingredients, then fry them on a low heat. 🍳Non-stick and rust resistant FRYING PAN JIU pans are hard tempered to a heat of over 700 degrees Celsius, meaning even cooking beginners can now easily use iron utensils. After use, simply scrub with a scrubbing brush without using detergent. The more you use the pan, the more oil it will absorb and the easier it will become to use. Enjoy the aging process as the metal color darkens and matures over time. 🍳Stylish solid wood handle The intelligently designed smooth wooden handle can be attached or removed from the frying pan with just one touch. If the handle gets in the way - even in the middle of cooking - you can simply slide it off and reattach it anywhere on the pan to suit your position. The handle lineup includes two different types of solid natural wood – beech or walnut, both sourced from sustainable forests in Yamagata prefecture. ※ Since this product is made from natural materials, the color and grain of the wood may vary ※ Both the wooden handle and metal parts are assembled by hand, therefore there may be individual differences between each product The smart slide function remains locked when gripping the back of the handle to ensure maximum safety and stability for cooking in an ergonomic and comfortable way. To remove the handle, simply slide from the front section of the handle. 🍳Compatible with open fire, IH and ovens ※ Please don’t use in the microwave. Please remove the wooden handle before placing in the oven. --------------------------------------------------------------- ~Before using for the first time~ <Iron pan> ① Wash with detergent and dry thoroughly. ② Heat a generous amount of oil in the pan and spread it over the entire pan surface, then wipe the excess away. ③ Add new oil and heat again, then start cooking when the pan has reached optimum temperature. (For IH users) Before turning the IH stove on, add a generous amount of oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Turn the switch to low heat for two minutes, then drain the excess oil. Set the temperature to the required level and begin cooking. <Handle> ① Use kitchen paper to coat the wood with vegetable oil. ② Remove the handle when cooking on medium or high heat, as this may scorch and burn the wood. ~Maintenance after use~ ① While the pan is still warm, scrub it with a scrubbing brush and water (do not use detergent). https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52933905038_9766526cb6_c.jpg ② After washing, heat the pan to dry out the excess water. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52933852320_7b63d3f815_c.jpg ③ Lightly coat the pan surface and wooden handle in oil before storing. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52933458011_058e9cdd2f_c.jpg ④ For any burn marks, boil water in the pan then scrub to remove. ※Precautions for use※ ・Not suitable for dishwashers or dish dryers. ・Do not use any higher than medium heat while preheating the pan. Preheating the pan suddenly with high heat may warp the shape of the pan. ・Due to the manufacturing process, the color of the metal may vary. As the pan is used, the color will gradually change as it ages and soaks up oil. ・When using an IH stove, please keep heat to medium or lower. ・Please do not shake the pan too vigorously when cooking. --------------------------------------------------------------- 【Fujita Kinzoku】 Established in 1951 in the district of Yao in Osaka, Japan, Fujita Kinzoku is a small metalware factory.
