We value its relaxed, natural texture, which develops a beautiful "patina" over time rather than deteriorating. As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which might look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through rigorous factory inspections and careful fabric cutting. If found, they are placed in less visible areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be entirely eliminated.
