→Product Introduction
This Tenmoku cup, with its full, rounded form, offers versatile use whether you are enjoying tea, coffee, or a small drink. The beauty of Tenmoku lies in its ever-changing glaze colors, often featuring patterns resembling rabbit fur, raindrops, oil drips, or leopard spots on the surface.
The dazzling Tenmoku is expertly managed by Teacher Yeh, who has dedicated decades to glaze research. Precise control over the interplay of fire, clay, and glaze is essential to achieve such exquisite detail in the patterns and the overall ambiance of the vessel, resulting in these stunning Tenmoku tea cups.
Historically, Tenmoku tea cups have been highly sought after by scholars and literati. In ancient times, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, potters could only meticulously strive, pouring their heart and soul into creating a perfect Tenmoku piece, a lifelong pursuit. Today, with technological advancements, many variables in Tenmoku firing can be controlled. However, Tenmoku remains an exceptionally challenging and difficult type of ceramic to master.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this piece is designed for practicality. Teacher Yeh has carefully refined each item based on years of experience, ensuring that every piece is comfortable to hold and durable.
