This is a bracelet connecting silver-embellished amethyst, floral Indian silver, London blue topaz, Herkimer diamonds, Karen silver, and amethyst. The charm at the top features delicate silver craftsmanship with an embedded amethyst. On the back, there is a "925" stamp indicating Sterling Silver. The plump silver beads next to the silver-embellished garnet are handcrafted one by one. The bead with a floral stamped pouch design, the small beads in between, and the clasp are all Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead is individually stamped! It's almost mind-boggling to think that all this is done by hand... ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in the Thai-Burmese border region. It is handmade, and said to have a very high purity. The flower-shaped bead is also silver. The clear beads are highly transparent, double-terminated Herkimer diamonds. Herkimer diamonds are quartz crystals mined in the Herkimer region of New York State. The subdued blue beads are faceted London blue topaz. Faceted amethysts have been added to complement the design.
