Naoko Nakanishi
A famous Japanese illustrator and cook. She is good at painting with animals as the theme, and the content is simple and innocent. After the 311 earthquake in East Japan, Miss Nakanishi thought about how she could help. A friend suggested that he draw a picture every day as a gift to soothe the traumatized hearts of people after the disaster. The reply was accumulated over time. In 2013, Naoko Nakanishi took these paintings to a traveling exhibition in Japan.
BonBon, the tabby cat, is a creation created by Miss Nakanishi in 2007, and is also the character that most often appears in Miss Nakanishi's creations. This brown tabby cat likes going to markets, cooking and traveling. It comes alive in the various paper materials collected by Ms. Nakanishi. Its humorous appearance often makes people smile and forget their worries.
