【 Endless happiness 】
This is "endless happiness."
Using a generous amount of emeralds, which are even rarer than other precious gems, this necklace is crafted with breathtaking luxury.
The name of the piece, Maia, comes from the Greek goddess of fertility.
The unique, wet-like, lustrous light of the emeralds shines from every angle. When worn, the smooth feel of the chain and the vibrant sparkle of the emeralds will lift your spirits.
Even one of these transparent, valuable emeralds is enough to make a whole necklace, but here, they form a continuous chain that wraps all the way around to the back of your neck. It looks incredibly elegant when paired with a simple knit sweater.
This is not only perfect for those who have emerald as their birthstone but also for pairing with a formal jacket. Emeralds have a history older than diamonds. In ancient and medieval times, it was one of the most highly prized gemstones.
We believe that only through direct sales from our workshop can we offer this price, making it an excellent and affordable choice for anyone who desires to have an emerald.

■ About Emerald
Stone meanings: wisdom, happy marriage, happiness, unconditional love, May birthstone.
Devotion and being devoted to a loved one.
Its Japanese names are Suigyoku (翠玉) and Ryokugyoku (緑玉).
It has a long history and is counted among the four great gems of the world. It appeared in the Greek philosopher Theophrastus's work "On Stones." It is famously known that Cleopatra of the Ptolemaic dynasty in Egypt favored it, which is why it was also a symbol of wealth and power. In Pliny the Elder's "Natural History" from the Roman Empire, it was ranked as the third most precious gemstone after diamonds and pearls, and Emperor Nero was said to have owned an emerald monocle. Indeed, emerald artifacts are often unearthed at Roman Empire sites like Pompeii.
Additionally, due to astrological influence, emerald was dedicated to Venus in Greece and Rome. In a Jewish legend, an emerald was among the jewels given to King Solomon by God, showing its presence in history since ancient times.
【Bonus Column: About Emerald Mineralogy and History】
From a mineralogical perspective, emeralds have a unique characteristic: their surface doesn't shine with a simple sparkle, but rather the light seems to radiate from within, giving them a wet appearance. This visual quality led ancient South American civilizations to believe they were living stones.
Cleopatra of ancient Egypt reportedly chose to meet dignitaries in reception rooms lavishly decorated with emeralds. The primary goal of the Age of Discovery was not just gold but also South American emeralds. Many historical figures of power have fallen in love with, sought, gone mad for, and searched for emeralds. Diamonds have only been standardized as a jewelry material for the last 100 years or so, lacking the thousands of years of history that emeralds possess. Emerald is a gemstone inextricably linked with world history.
Until corporations strategically standardized and branded diamonds, emeralds were considered the pinnacle of gemstones. Even today, jewelers have a specialized market just for emeralds, treating them as a class of their own.
Emerald is a gemstone whose very existence is called a "mineralogical miracle."
For emeralds to form, the mineral vanadium—which is found only in very specific natural environments (it has low crustal abundance and low concentration rates)—must interact with beryllium, which is also a rare metal. It is said that such an environment can arise during large-scale mountain-building processes where continental plates and ancient seabed plates rich in rare metals (formed during a "poisonous sea" era with abnormally high mineral concentrations before life began) collide under immense pressure and speed.
