The original light skin tone gradually matures into a caramel hue. Dyed leathers typically darken by one to two shades. Due to varying environmental temperatures and the amount of natural oils from your hands, each piece will develop uniquely. Chrome-tanned leather: Tanned using chromium salts, it has a stronger scent but a softer feel. Colors are applied using coatings, and grain patterns are post-processed for a more uniform and durable finish. Our brand primarily uses vegetable-tanned leather, characterized by its natural, irregular grain. These patterns can become more apparent after a period of use, highlighting the unique nature of vegetable-tanned leather. If you prefer strictly uniform patterns, please take note of the leather type. **Care Instructions** Leather is not water-resistant. Avoid wearing it while bathing or immersing it in water. If accidental exposure occurs, gently pat the leather dry with a clean cloth to absorb as much moisture as possible. Allow it to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area (do not use fans or hairdryers). Water can strip away natural oils, leaving the leather unprotected. You can attempt to remedy this with leather conditioning oil (mink oil), or you can send it back to us for re-oiling and maintenance. Avoid storing infrequently used leather items in damp, dark places. Remember to take them out periodically each season for airing and simple oiling.
