Similar to Krementz, Van Dell utilized 12K gold-filled construction and employed precious materials such as semi-precious stones, pearls, and ivory. The brand cultivated a distinctive design language. Despite the presence of similarly positioned brands like Krementz, and those employing similar filigree techniques such as Sorrento and Am Lee, seasoned collectors can easily recognize the unique essence and style characteristic of Van Dell. In the final years of the 20th century, Van Dell was acquired by the Colibri Company of London, which also owned Krementz.
