Burmese First-Line Flying Saucer Beads (Abacus Beads) Bracelet | Chalcedony, Dense U.F.O. Shaped, Linear Texture
Old Beads Brought Back to Taiwan by Thai/Burmese Bead Merchants | Faded and Mottled Appearance is Proof of Time Buried Underground 🛰️
Burmese First-Line Flying Saucer Beads (Abacus Beads) Bracelet
Ancient beads acquired by Taiwanese wholesalers from Thai/Burmese bead merchants and brought back to Taiwan.
Their appearance resembles flying saucers (U.F.O.s) and abacus beads, often referred to by collectors as "flying saucer beads" or "abacus beads."
Chalcedony material, dense and stone-like, with a firm feel.
Industry Perspective: The material is widely believed to be "Tzuse material."
Due to ancient, less-than-ideal inlay techniques, color did not easily penetrate the bead's core.
Combined with the influence of black ions from being buried underground, fading, color loss, and discoloration occur, resulting in mottled variations in tone.
Wrist Circumference: 16 cm
