Hand-knitted Earflap Hat: Autumn Forest

As I knitted, watching the colors shift brought to mind leaves displaying their myriad hues in response to temperature changes. The earflap section uses a different elastic stitch than the body of the hat, offering a more relaxed feel. The brim is intentionally extended at the back to provide warmth for the neck. Due to the unique variations in color and texture of each yarn, the color combination of every hat is distinct. Photos 1-3 showcase the S size, while photos 7-9 feature the L size. Yarn 2: Bright yellow speckled yarn. 10% Cashmere Wool, 10% Alpaca Wool, 30% Silk, 50% Merino Wool. Yarn 3: 100% Wool yarn from the kauni brand. Yarn 4: Purple 100% Wool yarn. Yarn 5: Charcoal grey yarn. 5% Alpaca Wool, 65% Superfine Merino Wool, 30% Nylon. Yarn 6: Grey 100% Baby Alpaca Wool yarn. Yarn 7: Dark grey Mohair from Spain. 72% Mohair, 28% Polyester. Sizing Size S: Front length 18.5cm, back length 21cm, total length with ear flaps 26cm, circumference 49cm. Size M: Front length 19cm, back length 21.5cm, total length with ear flaps 27cm, circumference 50cm. Size L: Front length 19cm, back length 21.5cm, total length with ear flaps 27cm, circumference 52cm. Below are fitting references: Size S: For a head circumference of 53.5cm, the fit is just right ~ comfortable. For 55cm, it fits snugly ~ just right. Avoid rubbing to prevent deformation.
