🧣 This seemingly intricate double-sided cable knit might appear challenging, but it becomes quite manageable once you grasp the weaving technique.
The name "Mi Li" (meaning "rice grain" in Mandarin) comes from the tiny seed stitches adorning each side of the cable. (Confession: I named it this because my stage name is Ai Mi Li, which sounds similar to "love rice grains" ~XD)
Unlike ordinary cable knit scarves, this design features the same pattern on both sides, so you won't have to worry about flipping it the wrong way anymore! ❤️
**▸ Class Duration**
3 hours
If you're an experienced knitter, we can cover joining yarn and finishing techniques within one session.
For beginners, we recommend practicing the stitches at home beforehand to get a head start!
**▸ Difficulty Level**
Due to the time constraints of this class, we suggest that those with basic knitting experience tackle this project.
However, if you're a beginner but willing to practice casting on and knit/purl stitches at home in advance, that's perfectly fine too! 👌 This will help you get the hang of it faster during class. ~😊
(The scarf itself isn't overly difficult, but for absolute beginners, practicing basic knit and purl stitches usually takes some time. If you're not yet proficient in these two techniques, you might not have enough time to learn the cable stitch during the class.)

Please note that the scarf is quite large, so completing it in one class session isn't feasible. You're welcome to book another session if you have further questions later on. 😊

**▸ Mengmeng x Handmade**
In the winter of 2010, a Cancerian girl who loved gathering friends for knitting embarked on her journey of yarn teaching.
Her creations often feature cute and comforting designs, with each stitch holding a warmth that gently calms the mind.
During classes, she adjusts the pace according to the student's progress and state, guiding your hand movements and helping you overcome any sticking points, so you learn knitting techniques and concepts along the way.
If you enjoy hands-on activities and are willing to give yourself the time to learn, this is a wonderful place for you. 😊
