Vintage Polish teacups and saucers with rose design made by Karolina.
The company was founded in 1860 in the city of Königszelt. After WW2, the factory was on Polish territory, and, after a period of modernization, the company eventually became Karolina.
The mark at the bottom of these items was introduced in 1954. These sets are in mostly good condition with possible production flaws, slight wear on the gold and surface marks due to usage. One saucer has a small (couple mm) chip underneath, which could be a production flaw. The photographs are a part of the description.
cup: 7cm height x 6.5cm diameter (not incl. handle)
