" Anna Johansson lives with her family in central Stockholm. She works as a creative director and designer and uses her work as an artist as a way to connect with herself and eliminate outside stress and distractions. "Art shouldn't be too complicated. I want to invite people into my art world and blur the boundaries of reality." She collects most of her inspiration subconsciously throughout the day and translates it into abstract patterns, mostly in neutral or subtle colors: "I love colors but have a hard time finding the right way to use them. Sometimes I feel like they compete with the shapes , destroying the balance. But I’m trying to find it.” Home is where the heart is For Anna, a perfect Saturday involves enjoying freshly brewed coffee in peace: "That never happens because a little monster dressed as a princess keeps trying to get my attention." She laughs. The more likely scenario is a Saturday walk in the sunshine with the family, a glass of wine in the evening and lots of laughter shared with friends. “Our home is my sanctuary,” explains Anna, who makes a point of surrounding herself with things she loves—creating a space of joy and tranquility. When asked what goals she has for herself and her career, she said: “I always focus on the things that give me energy and make me happy.
