They wear tall hats (representing tombstones), cloaks (representing the ego), and white skirts underneath (representing a pure life). When they perform the Sufi whirl, they open their cloaks, symbolizing the death of the old self and the rebirth of a new life. Simultaneously, their right palms face upwards towards the sky, and their left palms face downwards towards the earth, symbolizing the connection between heaven and earth. Accompanied by chanting and music, they begin to whirl, entering a state of unity between heaven, earth, and humanity. Sufi music is very sacred. It guides you into meditation. It's a form of meditation where one wears a long robe and spins continuously, reaching a divine state. I am a personal enthusiast of Sufi whirling. I whirl when I have the chance. When I was practicing in India, this was my daily meditation. As I whirled, I forgot about time, forgot about myself, forgot about everything. I simply became a whirl; you are the whirl! You have become one with the act of whirling! There is no separation! You have become energy! Let divinity fill you! At this point, you reach ecstasy, no longer aware of your surroundings! You forget your body; you reach a frequency! A high frequency! You no longer feel tired or out of control; instead, you are one! This is an excellent practice! About letting go! Because if even a tiny thought intervenes, if you start thinking, you will fall! You must completely stop thinking about everything else to be able to whirl! This means letting go! You cannot think; otherwise, you will fall. Let emptiness in! Empty yourself and enjoy the moment. Only then can you continue to whirl! We humans have many boundaries! If we don't transcend these boundaries, we fall into our minds and limit all thoughts and possibilities. Life is about emptiness; to be empty is a blessing! When you are empty, blessings can enter. Let go, and you will be held by existence! It may seem impossible, but it's not! It's only impossible within your perception! Often, what are called miracles happen simply by believing!
