This wheel-thrown teabowl was made from porcelain clay imported from Japan.
The bowl was soda-fired in the Yamingshan mountains.
While the clay was still wet I made some indentations that add some character to the bowl. I also wanted to make a bowl with a tall foot that 'lifts' up the piece.
