[Western Building Series Cement Basin]
Since about 1650 AD, due to difficulties in life, the people of Kinmen took the lead to go to Southeast Asia or travel east to Japan to seek life. The expatriates who made money have built western buildings that are different from the traditional southern Fujian architecture. Usually western buildings are mainly two-story buildings. The details not only have traditional architectural elements, but also Western elements, such as angels, eagles and other patterns.

Five foot base building:
It usually refers to the reserved and sheltered corridor space on the first floor, and the outer pillars are presented in a continuous manner.
The design of the basin is based on the Chen Jinglan Mansion.
