Each wallet is meticulously crafted from a single piece of premium Tuscan cowhide leather from Italy.
This collection showcases the superior quality of its chosen materials, allowing their inherent beauty to shine through without compromising on aesthetics. The edges of the wallets feature a dyeing and polishing technique known as "kirime," which demands exceptional skill from our artisans.
The interior of the wallets also extensively utilizes cowhide, the primary material of this collection.
"Kirime"
This technique is primarily used in leatherworking, where the cut edges of the leather are polished to achieve a beautiful sheen. The cut surface of the leather is first smoothed with a coarse file, then a fine file, until it is perfectly flat and smooth. Multiple layers of dye are then applied to create a refined edge finish.
The dye penetrates the leather fibers, hardening them, which helps prevent fraying and deformation of the stitching.

- Listing Summary
- The main material is Italian-made full vegetable-tanned leather from Bretagna. Full vegetable-tanned leather is often stiff, but we've created a series of wallets that are soft and comfortable to the touch, while still maintaining just the right amount of firmness. Each piece of leather is hand-dyed by artisans, giving it a deep, rich character and a lustrous finish.
